           Here’s what’s coming up-

            February 9- Horse Expo Field Trip- Meet at CRK, we will carpool from there.

            February 21, 2014- Project meeting- 7:30-9:00 pm. Bridles & Bits- English & Western.

Show Meeting~

The Annual CRK Show Meeting will be held on Friday, February 28th at 7:30PM. This informative meeting is open to all clients and will give you the information you need to show this season or just come and find out what it’s all about!  Show schedules and rates will be discussed, we will select which shows to attend this year and there are always free refreshments!  Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can be sure to have enough handouts and snacks!

Horse Expo Pomona~

          All things horse invade Pomona! Horse Expo come to the Los Angeles Fairgrounds February 7-9, 2014. There will be speakers, demonstrations, food, riding and the most popular event- SHOPPING! You can buy your tickets online or at the door, just remember to bring cash. Use your AQHA membership card to get a $3.00 discount every day! Cheryl & Athena will be there on Sunday this year, so if you want to come along, just let us know! See you at the EXPO!
Backcountry Horsemen of California Rendezvous ~

          Norco, CA- Horsetown U.S.A- This event is open to the public and completely free! For the second year in a row, Ingalls Equestrian Event Center will be the place to be March 21-23, 2014. There will be great speakers such as – Shawna Karrasch, Robin Bond, Jerry Tindrell, Christy Landwehr and your very own instructor- Cheryl Rohnke Kronsberg. Events include- Beer, Wine & Cheese Meet & Greet, Dinner & Auction, 75+ Vendors, Raffles, Cowboy Church, Contests,  an ACTHA Obstacle Challenge, Kids Activities and much more! Plan to spend the weekend because Cheryl will be there all three days doing presentations and working at the CHA Booth. February Make-up Lessons~

          The February group make-up lesson will be held on Sunday, February 23 at 1:00 pm. If you have missed a group lesson due to weather issues or any other cancellation, please contact the office to schedule your make up lesson. You must sign up to ride.

 

The Piggies are Coming!

          Effective February 1, 2014 the box stall barn will be leased out to Athena & Dan Fosnight. They will be using the barn to house their mini-pot bellied pigs- 4 of them! And one is pregnant! So be on the lookout for our newest additions and keep in mind that your horses may need some time getting used to our latest family members.

 

Practice Rides Only $30.00!~
Practice rides are now available on all CRK School horses. Practice rides allow students to apply the skills they have learned during their lessons without paying the full price. During practice rides the student will have full access to all tack, horses and arena. Students will have a full 90 minutes to groom, saddle, ride, cool out, untack and put the horse away. Practice rides may be supervised, but instruction is not included. You must be a confident Level 3 rider to participate in Practice Rides at CRK. Call Cheryl to schedule your practice ride today!
