Katrina Returns~
Cheryl’s daughter, Katrina, will be returning from Japan on leave from the Navy March 1. Katrina left Yorba Linda for her first duty station aboard the Aircraft Carrier-USS George Washington way back in November 2011! Cheryl & Steve are eagerly anticipating spending some time off with her during her well earned visit. She will be returning to Japan on March 24, 2013. Make sure you take a moment to say hi while she’s home. I’m sure she will be glad to see you!
During this time, most lessons will be given by our wonderful Asst. Trainer- Athena Fosnight. Some lessons will be cancelled including most morning lessons. If you want to re-schedule your lesson, please let us know as soon as possible. If your normal lesson day is listed below as a “No Cheryl Day”, it will be taught by Athena. Please check below and mark your calendar accordingly. Thank you for your understanding!
No Cheryl Days-
Athena will be filling in for Cheryl on these days during the afternoons. If you have a morning lesson, it will be cancelled . If you prefer to ride with Cheryl, please call to reschedule your lessons. March 1-3, March 11-24.

Welcome~
We have a new equine teacher- Purely Tricky, aka “Trixie”! Trixie joined our program early last month. We are happy to have her here to teach our students. Trixie is an AQHA bay mare, 15.1 hands, 20 years young and she has an extensive show record. Be sure to ask to ride Trixie during your next lesson!
Yorba Linda Country Riders~
This is our local riding club. They put on shows, trail rides, informative meetings and fight to keep our trails open and safe. Anyone who has a horse in Yorba Linda should support this wonderful group. You can join or become a sponsor by going to www.ylcr.net.
