CHA Region 10 Conference~
The CHA Region 10 Conference for 2014 is now history. If you missed out, you missed a lot! We had wonderful weather which is very important in Norco! Our speakers and presenters were fabulous. Many people came from far and near to attend. We even has someone come all the way from Hawaii!
The silent auction was great fun. The bidding got fast and furious during the last few minutes with many bidders being denied their prize at the very last second. All the riders had a wonderful time riding at this spectacular facility. They benefited significantly from the information and new skills they learned. It was a fantastic day of equine education for spectators, horses and riders alike.
New Group Lessons~
Now that the kids are going back to school it’s time to shake up the lesson schedule a bit. The following new group lessons will begin in October. If you have been recommended to go into group lesson, pick the correct one and sign up today! All group lesson riders must be capable of catching, tying, grooming, tacking, cooling out, un-tacking and putting their horse away without supervision. Call Cheryl to sign up today!

October Make-up Lessons~
October group make-up lessons will be held on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014. If you miss a group lesson in September, please contact the office to schedule your make up lesson. You must sign up to ride.
Missed private lessons may be made up if 24 hour notice is given. Lessons cancelled by CRK will be credited during the next billing month if a suitable make up can’t be worked out.
Ranch Improvements~
A new cross-tie area has been installed in the Mare Motel. Now students and instructors will be able to groom out of the hot sun and rain. Each horse will have an assigned grooming stall so look for the signs or ask your instructor.
This area has been a long time coming and was very costly to build. Therefore, these grooming stalls are reserved for CRK lesson horses only. Boarders may not use this area at any time. Thank you for your understanding.
Time To Ride Open House Events~
Our open house events went wonderfully! We introduced over 220 newcomers to our equestrian lifestyle. They enjoyed a class all about horses, a scavenger hunt, petting zoo and of course free riding lessons! We greatly exceeded the “100 in 100 days” goal set by the creators of the contest and now await the results of the competition. Look out on Facebook on October 1 for the final results! Hopefully we will be winners! Of course, having many new students embark on their equestrian journey in our lesson program has made us winners already.
