Welcome!
CRK Training Stable is pleased to welcome the following new riders who joined us in March-Jay, Terra, Lina, Kayla, Elizabeth, Alpesh, Suze, Gloria, Pete, Hannah, and Alexis. As you can see, we are busy! Please plan ahead when scheduling your lessons. We may not be able to accommodate changes easily.
CRK Tack Sale March 28, 1:00-6:00 P.M. ~
Over the 35 years we have been teaching riding and training horses, we have accumulated loads of tack and clothing. Some was purchased for horses we no longer have. Some was left behind by boarders who moved. Some was won at shows and raffles. Some if it we don’t even know where it came from! We even have several 50# bags of Purina Senior Feed and Omelene that we won. Now it’s time to LET IT GO!!!
Bridles, western saddles, English saddles, saddle pads, breeches, western show shirts, breast collars, English reins, split reins, roping reins, hackamores, splint boots, bell boots, sports medicine boots, skid boots and lots more all must go! Some of it is new with tags still attached. So if you need some tack, check it out. Cash only. Credit cards accepted for purchases over $300.00.
Katrina Returns~
Cheryl & Steve’s daughter, Katrina, will be returning home from Japan after completing her service with the Navy in mid April. Katrina left Yorba Linda for duty aboard the USS George Washington in Japan way back in November 2011!
Lesson schedules may be disrupted during this time as we help her acclimate back into civilian life. We will contact you directly if your lesson will be cancelled. We apologize for not having better information at this time, but that’s the military for you! Thank you for your understanding!
New Group Lesson~
A new group lesson will be offered starting on Sundays at 1:30 pm. This will be a level 1 group. Riders must be able to catch, groom, saddle, mount, dismount and ride walk well. Rider must also have begun trot. If you are at this level or have been told you are ready to move into a group, please let Cheryl know. Group lessons students arrive 15 minutes prior to the lesson to prepare the horse, ride the entire lesson and put the horse away after the lesson is concluded. Students should allow 1 hour & 40 minutes for each lesson. Limited to 3 riders. $180.00 by the month only. (Due to the Easter holiday this group will begin on April 12. Price $140.00 for April only.)

CRK Training Stable is very active in social media, posting blogs, information about lesson cancellations, silly, fun videos of the horses, events, etc. on Facebook and LinkedIn. Please like the CRK Training Stable Facebook page and look Cheryl up on LinkedIn. Certified Horsemanship Association(CHA) Region 10 also has a Facebook page. If you are interested in what CHA Region 10 has to offer, be sure to like that page as well.

April Group Make-up Lessons~
The April group make-up lesson will be held on Sunday April 26, 2015. If you have missed a group lesson, please contact the office to schedule your make up lesson. You must sign up to ride.
