Let’s stay safe out there!
Due to the Covid-19 virus we have discontinued our Horsemanship Lesson Program and do not intend to resume teaching at this time. Boarders and leasers may continue to attend to their horses during business hours. Our office is usually unmanned, but please leave a message and we’ll get back to you. We know people have time on their hands, but for everyone’s safety, please do not visit the ranch without an appointment. Thank you for your understanding.
Until we can meet in person, here’s some things you can do to get your horse fix:
- Visit the blog and read some of the posts.
- Go to the study guides and check your knowledge
- Visit some of the links under the recommend resources tab.
- Check out the Videos tab. You’ll find some interesting stuff there.
- Read horse books such as Black Beauty, King of the Wind, Misty of Chincoteague
- Go to the AQHA web site (https://www.aqha.com/) and look up their Junior Master Horseman program
- Watch some wonderful movies such as: Disney’s, Horse in the Grey Flannel Suit, National Velvet, Secretariat and many others (look up horse movies for kids)
Enjoy your time with family even if they making life “interesting.” Stay safe. Stay distanced. Stay in touch.
