CRK Training Stable to participate in Time to Ride Challenge.

DSC04019 The Time To Ride Challenge focuses on welcoming newcomers to the world of horses as part of nationwide effort.

CRK Training Stable has entered to compete in the Time To Ride Challenge by introducing new people to horse activities, beginning May 30, 2015. The Time To Ride Challenge is a program that aims to welcome newcomers to horse activities across the country. Created by the Time to Ride initiative, the Challenge involves hosts like Cheryl R. Kronsberg of CRK Training Stable, who believe that horse activities can contribute to the health and well-being of all Americans. The Time to Ride Initiative is the brain child of the American Horse Council.

Our FREE Open Houses will begin on May 31, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 PM. Additional dates to be announced throughout the summer.

Cheryl R. Kronsberg of CRK Training Stable offers riding lessons to beginners through advanced students ages 5 years and up. Cheryl is a CHA Certified Master Instructor with over 35 years experience teaching riding. CRK Training Stable has been located in Yorba Linda for the past 16 years.

DSC03832Cheryl R. Kronsberg believes that horse activities are beneficial to individuals and families in many ways. With the convenience of digital entertainment, many families are slipping away from an active lifestyle and getting caught in a computer-generated reality. Yet, those families that take time to engage in horse activities – perhaps after-school riding lessons for the kids, a girls-day trail ride for mom, a family vacation to a dude ranch, a date with friends to go to the races, or an outing to a horse show – are finding the time invested returns priceless rewards. Parents and children may learn horseback riding together and share the adventure. Many families have gone on to purchase horses and compete or just ride the trails together. Perhaps it’s time to reconnect with the horse to find the benefits of equine activities. The horse can bring the family together in an activity that is part work-out, part therapy session and part pure exhilaration.

CRK Training Stable is proud to introduce newcomers to horses through a variety of events and activities.  A FREE Open Houses will take place on May 31 from 3:00-5:00 PM. We offer a FREE Introduction To Horses class, Grooming & Saddling Demonstrations and Free Riding Lessons to newcomers 6 years and up. A ranch wide scavenger hunt and petting zooAthena Fosnight will also be open.

Discounts for up to $50.00 off summer camp will be offered to all attendees.

Cheryl and the entire CRK family invite you to bring your family and friends to these free open house events. More dates will be added so check back if you can’t make it to one of these days.

All animal lovers are welcome but please leave your dogs at home. We love children, but strollers drive our horses crazy. No strollers please. Closed shoes highly recommended. Thank you for your understanding.

Here’s the fine print- You must provide a your full name and a valid email address to participate. Email addresses must belong to a newcomer 13 years of age or older. CRK Training Stable will submit email addresses to the Certified Horsemanship Association and/or Time To Ride Challenge and/or The American Horse Council for the purposes of competing for an award.  Email addresses will not be sold nor made commercially available. You may be contacted by those organizations to determine that you actually attended a 100 Day Challenge event.

Riders must be 6+ years old, under 200 lbs., able-bodied, able to follow basic instructions in English,  wear shoes that fully enclose the feet and long pants.

A Liability Waiver must be signed by an adult parent or guardian. Riding helmets will be provided and are required. The number of riding lessons given each day will be limited and only available on a first come-first served basis. Any award of cash or prizes won shall be the sole property of CRK Training Stable and it’s owners- Cheryl Rohnke Kronsberg and/or Steven Kronsberg.

But it’s completely free!
