­Chamber Of Commerce Mixer~
CRK Training Stable will host a Chamber of Commerce Mixer on Thursday May 16 from 5:00-8:00 pm. This event is open to Chamber members, CRK Clients and the general public. During this event we will have great food, a short talk by Cheryl & Steve, some crafts and loads of fun! So come out and enjoy an evening at the ranch! And the best part is that the event is completely FREE!

No Lesson Days~
Cheryl & Steve will be on vacation during the week of May 8-12, 2012.  Also, Cheryl will be working the Home Schooling Expo in Long Beach on May 25 & 26.  All lessons will be cancelled during this time and your account will be adjusted to reflect this change. If you would like to reschedule your lesson, please call Cheryl ASAP, before all the lesson times are taken. Thank you for your understanding.

 CRK Training Stable announces a riding clinic with Christy Landwehr, Certified Horsemanship Association’s CEO, Master Instructor, Clinic Director, AQHA Professional Horseman and all around great teacher! Bring your horse and learn with us! Thursday, May 24, 2012

Lessons will be: 10:30, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm 60 min. Private- $65.00 60 min. 2 or more riders – $55.00 per rider. School horses are available for current CRK Students. Call 714-693-4886 today to reserve your lesson. Update- 10:30 Lesson is now taken. Only 2 lessons left so be sure to book soon!

Horses4Heroes, Inc. is the leading family horseback riding program that enriches lives and empowers our youth by offering affordable, able-bodied horseback riding programs that emphasize fun and safe activities with horses, mounted and un-mounted for all ages. Participants learn valuable leadership and teamwork skills, make new friends, and develop a lifelong love of horses! Our organization serves all servicemen and women, First Responders and other heroes in communities across the country.

            This event is free! However; it you are able we will ask for a tax deductible donation of $10.00 per person or $20.00 per family.

            You Can Help! We are looking for anyone who is interested in helping our cause. You can donate an item for our Silent Auction, offer to help out before, during or after the event, help out during lessons or summer camp or offer your particular specialty.  Let Cheryl know what you would like to do, and she will be happy to put you where you are most needed. High School students can earn community service hours while working at CRK Stable during Horses4Heroes events.

Shows 2012 ~

The first show was rained out but we are looking forward to the next one.

The next show is the 4/15 YLCR Show. This is always a fun circuit and so close to home it’s hard to pass up! Be sure to let Cheryl know if you want to compete at this show. And be sure to reserve your trailer space as well.

Rider Testing & Evaluations~

          Evaluations- Anyone wishing to pass their level tests must request an evaluation. There is no charge but it must be scheduled. Your riding evaluation will be held during your normal lesson and your practical and written tests may be taken anytime. If you haven’t been working on the patch for the next riding level, now is the time! Books are available from Cheryl for $15.00 each.  Book your free evaluation today and get your next level patch!
